Things That Your Event Photobooth Team Doesn't Tell You

We love being a part of your memorable events and parties. We absolutely like working with fun and positive clients. But come the event and there are certainly some things we wish we could tell you but we just can’t because we don’t want to interrupt your once-in-a-lifetime moments.

So here we are… spilling some beans out so you’ll get a hint before you book our photobooth for your next event (link to booking/contact page)

1. Please take care of our props

Some of our photobooth props may look wacky and random, but these stuff had been bought with hard-earned money. Please no tossing of wigs, breaking of guns and using Trump’s face outside the booth. We also prohibit using our horse mask to scare kids in the reception. Just don’t.

We would also appreciate it if you can go easy with the props that spell I-L-L-E-G-A-L when they’re real. Our weeds and money props look better when you take a photo of them in our booth but it would definitely be taken out of context when you bring them on your table and look eerily suspicious. In short, we’re against illegal acts that you know… can be associated to this set of props.

Just take care of our props. Really. 😊

2. Don’t touch the lens.

Big no-no. No matter how drunk you get (worst case scenario), just try to remember not to touch the camera, especially the lens. That’s the precious thing that keeps us in business and we can’t risk having that baby scratched or blurred out, or worst – damaged.

3.  We get hungry too

We need a full stomach to operate the photobooth better. We would definitely appreciate it if you can allocate some food for our team. However if you’re quite strict with the head count and can no longer fit in a bunch, let us know in advance so we can prepare ourselves some snacks. We can’t risk Incredible Hulk showing up just because Dr. Bruce Banner got hungry (Disclaimer: This sentence is just a trying-hard analogy – because we’re neither Bruce Banner nor we become Incredible Hulk when we’re hungry)

4. Be kind. ALWAYS.

Out of the hundreds of people that we’ve met since we started this business, there will always be some who will ask for a few more ‘takes’ because they’re not happy with how they look in the photos. That’s totally normal – only a few people are gifted with pretty faces that look gorgeous in ALL angles anyway.

It’s just that when making a request, please talk to our staff with kindness. We get stressed and exhausted too. The least that will help us take better photos and suggest better ideas is an irate demand said with a not-so-friendly tone.

Please be kind. Not just to us – but to everyone else. ALWAYS. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

That’s it for our list of to-tell-but-cannot. We hope this list will help you understand what goes through a photobooth operator’s mind, so we can all have mindful fun during your events.
